Program Overview

The Game Art & Design Bachelor's of Applied Science degree program prepares students for a career in the interactive entertainment industry in as few as 32 months.

The Game Art & Design degree program is an intensive practical and theoretical training program that prepares students to become successful in today’s game development industry. Students attending this program have the opportunity to learn both the technical and creative components of fine arts as well as the essential business principles of the entertainment industry.

 

Degree Progression

Each academic year you'll be immersed in project-based, hands-on courses while gradually accruing your general education requirements.

Freshmen Year: Communications & Critical Thinking, Introduction to Psychology, Drawing Bootcamp, Design Basics, Media Sound & Visual

Sophomore Year: Popular Culture, Mathematical Concepts, Compositing, 3D Modeling, Introduction to Animation, History of Games

Junior Year: Texture & Lighting, Motion Studies, User Interface Design, Game Production, Advanced Game Production, Character Rigging
