Jason Munn

Technology Supervisor


Jason is an Audio Instructor at SAE Institute Nashville and an NCCT Certified Higher Education Professional (formerly a Certified Postsecondary Instructor), AVID Certified Instructor – Pro Tools, and an Associate Member of the Audio Engineering Society as well as being Dante Certified. He’s a Freelance Audio Engineer (mainly Live Sound, Post, A/V, & Tech) and a Peer Reviewer for Focal Press for their Professional Audio Engineering Books.

Jason is a musician of 20+ years with numerous credits ranging from local to international artists and an Audio Engineer of 15+ years with credits ranging from local to international artists.

Jason graduated from the College of William & Mary with a B.A. in Music Theory and was recipient of the Burns Scholarship from the Music Department. He’s currently a graduate student on an Assistantship in the Master of Fine Arts degree in the Recording Arts & Sciences program at Middle Tennessee State University starting in August 2018.

He’s formerly a Music Educator as well; he taught Middle School Band, High School Guitar Ensembles, Advanced Placement Music Theory, and the International Baccalaureate Music Program. Currently, he is finishing my Master of Fine Arts degree from MTSU in Recording Arts and Technologies.
