Technology Package

A Technology Package is available for purchase to students, which includes tech, headphones, books, and other materials they need to succeed in class. Because of our partnerships, we're able to offer these materials all in one place, more affordably than if students had to purchase them separately.

What's Inside the Tech Package?

All courses at SAE Institute require the use of a tablet, headphones, and an external hard drive. The cost of the package is not included in the cost of tuition. Students may elect to purchase the equipment from vendors other than SAE Institute.

The technology package includes the following:

  • Apple iPad Wi-Fi 32GB Space Gray
  • Shure SRH440 Professional Studio Headphones
  • Glyph BlackBox 1TB Hard Drive
  • Two-year subscription to Groove3 (for Audio Programs only)
  • Pro Tools 101 and 110 e-books (for Audio Programs only)
  • Subscription to O’Reilly Books (Nashville, Atlanta, and Chicago)
