SAE Institute of Technology Miami welcomed DJ, producer, and SAE alumnus NITTI for an exclusive DJ and Producer Masterclass on October 8, giving students and attendees an opportunity to learn from an artist making his mark on the music industry.
Best known as one half of the Grammy-nominated electronic music duo SIDEPIECE, NITTI returned to the Miami campus to share insights from his professional journey, from his time as a student to working in the music industry alongside major artists.
During the masterclass, attendees gained an inside look at his creative process, digital audio workstation (DAW) workflow, and music production techniques. NITTI also shared industry advice and discussed the skills, creativity, and dedication involved in building a career as a DJ and producer.
The event drew a strong turnout and provided an opportunity for aspiring artists, producers, and music professionals to learn directly from someone who has experienced the journey from music education to working at a high level in the industry.
“It was an incredibly inspiring, well-attended, and technically informative event. NITTI generously stayed nearly two hours beyond the scheduled end time to take photos, answer questions, and really engage with our students,” said Jerry Rivera, Campus Director at SAE Institute of Technology Miami. “His willingness to go above and beyond made a lasting impression, and we’re grateful he took the time to share his knowledge and experience with our SAE community,”
Rivera also recognized Miami campus team member Kayla Whiteman for her role in organizing and driving the event and making the masterclass possible.
Bringing industry professionals and successful alumni to campus is one way SAE Institute continues to connect students with real-world perspectives and insights into the creative industries. NITTI’s visit served as a reminder of the possibilities that can grow from a passion for music, a commitment to developing your craft, and a willingness to pursue opportunities in the industry.
