On Friday, December 8th, 2023, SAE Institute Atlanta alongside Creative Space Events brought together a panel discussion with top music producers, Needlz, Drumma Boy, and Fuse from 808 Mafia.

The event, called Creative Convos, allowed students, alumni, and fellow music lovers to learn and interact with the producers during the day-long session.

The discussions focused on a range of topics including “Achieving and Maintaining Success in the Music Industry” and allowed the guest speakers to expand on their personal experiences working with major artists and on award-winning projects.

The event was hosted by Creative Space founder, Jason ‘J Hatch’ Hadshian who is a music industry veteran himself with over 30 years of experience working with music makers in various capacities.

“I’m really happy with the way this event allowed students to gain valuable insight into what they’re currently learning through the success of these engineers and producers,” says SAE Institute Audio Program Chair and event co-organizer Lamarr Miller. “They were able to ask questions, learn about different approaches to success within the industry, and most importantly gain an understanding that with hard work and dedication, you can be successful in your career. We’re happy to have partnered with J-Hatch and Creative Space for this Creative Convo series and look forward to providing more opportunities like this for our students in the future.”
