On Thursday, January 18th, 2024, SAE Institute Atlanta alongside Hart Note Productions brought together a panel discussion with seasoned creative media industry professionals Caleb Seales and Grey Paul.
The event, called Access Granted: Lights, Camera, Direction, allowed students, alumni, and fellow film and video production lovers to learn and interact with the guest speakers during the panel event.
The discussions focused on a range of topics including the current state of the film industry in Atlanta, current opportunities available, and their own journeys and successes working within the industry.
The event was hosted by Broadcasting A2 and CEO of Hart Note Productions, Jeremy Hart who is also a former student of the Atlanta campus. Hart Note Productions specializes in production of all kinds including corporate A/V, Sports Broadcasting A2, documentaries, live events, and more.
Event guest speaker Caleb Seales is a seasoned Director, Producer, Cinematographer, and production studio owner of The H.B.U.C., and production company owner of OPNSZN. Amassing a strong body of work over the past 8 years, Caleb has been at the helm of videos for major artists such as J. Cole, Kanye West, Latto, as well as collaborations with brands including Nike, Puma, Lifetime, MTV, and more.
Guest speaker Grey Paul is the Owner and Director of Photography of 4GroundsMedia Inc. 4GroundsMedia Inc. offers video production, video editing, audio production/editing, graphic design, and visual content marketing for clients ranging from local small businesses to major corporations like Ford and Mercedes Benz.
The event provided SAE students a rare and insightful opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, hear their stories, ask questions, and connect with Caleb and Grey as well as each other.
“The Access Granted event series is a great way for media (FIlm, Audio, Entertainment Business) industry professionals to come and share their experiences and success with our students,” says SAE Institute Atlanta Audio Program Chair, Lamarr Miller. “The host, Jeremy Hart of Hart Note Productions, is a graduate of SAE Atlanta and a former student of mine. It is a pleasure to have him return to share his success and network with our future graduates and industry professionals here at SAE.”
