NASHVILLE, TN, June 2024 –– SAE Institute of Technology Nashville is proud to announce the appointment of Noah Bonnell as Audio Program Chair. In his new role, Noah will oversee all aspects of the Audio program’s operations on campus including oversight of program faculty, technology, facilities, retention, and student satisfaction.
Noah Bonnell is an experienced audio professional with a diverse background in both education and entertainment. His expertise includes FOH and monitor mixing, stage and house lighting, live streaming, content creation, and Pro Tools certification, ensuring students receive industry-relevant education.
Noah holds a Master’s Degree in Creative Media from Middlesex University and a Bachelor’s in Audio Production from Ball State University. His strong academic background provides a solid foundation for his practical skills and teaching abilities.
In 2012, Noah moved to Music City for an internship at Blackbird Studio, where he gained invaluable industry experience. Noah has also held significant roles at renowned venues such as Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, Hard Rock Cafe, and Opry Entertainment Group, where he further refined his technical expertise and leadership capabilities. Additionally, Noah has contributed to the Purdue GERI residential program as an instructor in audio production and creative media.
“I’m excited to start my new role with SAE Institute Nashville,” says Noah. “I look forward to sharing my insights and experience with our students and continue working with our stellar faculty. I’ve found an unexpected passion in teaching audio. Sharing this space with younger creatives has been such an incredible experience for me, and my goals include providing that space, and returning that experience to current and future students alike.”
