On Friday, October 17th, SAE Institute Miami hosted its Program Kickoff Party to celebrate the launch of the new Associate of Applied Science in Audio program, and the campus was buzzing with energy from start to finish!
More than 200 guests filled the campus, including current students, alumni, faculty (past and present), and members of the local creative community. The evening featured music from a live DJ, studio demos, raffles, and campus tours, as attendees connected and explored everything the campus has to offer. Guests also enjoyed appetizers, a photo booth station, and plenty of opportunities to network with industry peers and fellow creatives.
A highlight of the night was the Alumni Roundtable, where six former students shared their journeys through the audio and entertainment industries. Their insights, advice, and experiences, both pre- and post-graduation, offered inspiration to the next generation of aspiring professionals launching their own creative paths.
A few lucky guests even walked away with some SAE swag and prizes, including an audio microphone, making the night even more memorable.
As a special bonus, all attendees received one year of free plugins courtesy of Apogee Digital.
The event was a tremendous success and a true celebration of the Miami campus, including its people, its legacy, and its exciting future. The new Associate of Applied Science in Audio program marks an exciting new chapter, and the Kickoff Party set the tone for what’s to come: more innovation, collaboration, and community.
