Building the Artist: Women Shaping the Future of Music at SAE Institute Miami

 

On Thursday, May 7, SAE Institute of Technology Miami partnered with Women in Music to host Building the Artist: Women Shaping the Future of Music, an inspiring morning dedicated to empowering the next generation of women in the music industry.

Held at the SAE Institute Miami campus from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., the event brought together artists, producers, engineers, students, and creatives of all levels for meaningful conversations, networking opportunities, and insight from women making an impact across every corner of the industry.

Guests enjoyed a morning filled with engaging panel discussions, brunch, networking, exclusive swag giveaways, and opportunities to connect with industry professionals who are actively shaping the future of music from both the creative and business sides.

The panel featured an accomplished group of women representing a wide range of roles in the music and entertainment industry, including A&R, public relations, label leadership, artist strategy, communications, and songwriting.

Throughout the discussion, panelists shared personal experiences, career advice, and valuable insight into navigating today’s evolving music industry. From building artist brands and developing talent to understanding the business side of entertainment, attendees walked away with knowledge and inspiration from women who continue to lead and innovate within their respective fields.

The event created a welcoming and collaborative environment where students and aspiring professionals were able to engage directly with industry leaders, ask questions, and build connections that could support their future careers.
