SAE Institute of Technology Nashville brought creators, artists, industry professionals, and aspiring entertainers together for an afternoon of insight and connection at its Creator Showcase on Saturday, August 15.

The event gave attendees an opportunity to hear directly from professionals working across music, entertainment, business, and the creative industries. Designed for anyone looking to build their brand, expand their network, or take the next step in their entertainment career, the Creator Showcase offered practical advice and industry perspectives that attendees could put into action.

A highlight of the event was an engaging panel moderated by artist and Nashville campus alum Daniel “D Stunna” Stoner, featuring an impressive group of artists and entertainment professionals, including artist 2’LiveBre, DJ and event curator King Coogi, rapper and singer-songwriter Daisha McBride aka “The Rap Girl,” Artist Relations executive Romello Smith, and entrepreneur and business strategist Darrius Hall

Drawing from their individual experiences in the industry, the panelists shared insight into what it takes to establish a personal brand, build meaningful professional relationships, navigate the entertainment business, and create opportunities for long-term career growth.

The conversation also gave attendees the chance to ask questions and gain advice directly from professionals with firsthand experience in their respective fields.

After the panel, attendees enjoyed a showcase featuring student artists and musicians, giveaways, and additional opportunities to connect and engage throughout the afternoon.

The Creator Showcase reflects SAE Institute Nashville’s continued commitment to providing students and aspiring creatives with access to industry expertise and real-world experiences.

By bringing working professionals onto campus and creating opportunities for creators to learn, perform, network, and ask questions, the campus continues to create experiences designed to help the next generation of creative professionals prepare for careers in an evolving entertainment industry.

That commitment is also reflected in the campus’s newest program, the Digital Content Creator program, launching this September. The program is designed for students interested in developing the skills needed to create, edit, market, and manage content across today’s digital platforms.
